PPK Video Vehicle Detector (VVD) uses MATC
Artificial Intelligence Module (MATC AIM) that
focuses on the detection, counting, and
classification of different objects. VVD is trained to
detect and recognise various traffic vehicles from a
live video feed. Presently it is trained with 4
categories of classification which are motorcycle,
car/ multi-purpose vehicle (MPV), truck / lorry and bus.
VVD can be integrated with MATC4100 Traffic Controller
acting in full Vehicle Actuated (VA) mode. Our module is
developed with a user-friendly interface where the user is able
to draw and edit virtual loops easily. All information on detection,
counting, and classification will be logged and sent to PINTAS/ OPTIMES Control Centre via the
internet.
